Homemade shampoo and conditioner

Since the beginning of last winter, my scalp changed completely. It was a very dramatic change due to the weather, not because of my products since they had not changed. I started experimenting with different products to see what would help with my excessive oil and dandruff. Shampoo and conditioner that promised less oily hair produced more dandruff. Shampoo and conditioner that promised less dandruff speed up the process of oily hair.

Then a friend's facebook post prompted me to use a homemade and natural method. This week I began using a baking soda and water mix as shampoo and an apple cider and water mix as conditioner. Earlier in the week I used the new shampoo mix. I tested how well it worked by not washing my hair until needed. I lasted about six days before my head contained to much of my dead scalp skin. Success! Tonight I used the new shampoo mix and the new conditioner mix. I'll let you know in a few days how this combination works out. I'm very hopeful.
